How hard or long do you try to rehabilitate a reactive dog?

When 4 dogs are all barking at once in reacting to visitors, whats the best way to get attention?

How are we reinforcing barking?? Ignore

What about rolling over  on back. Appeasement? Or friendly?

what about a dog who, if you pull them away from the fence of the dog park or another dog, pancakes?

I had a reactive dog and a person to whom I had been referred suggested running him by whatever was frightening him.  Good or bad idea?

I missed most of seminar, how do you feel about constructional aggression treatment.

My question on roll over is with people. Not dogs. My GSD is crazy friendly but the rolls on his back. I get the impression he got himself in too deep and wants out. Make sense?

This is why I asked You Dr Dunbar, to train all 4 at once. I have been switching to the "dogs, shoosh!" So that validated im in the right track, THANK YOU!

Our new senior female resuce dog has a low growl for some dogs including our grandson’s male dog.  should we shhh her when growling?  She and the grand do run around the house.  One time the grand dog had enough and ran to his crate.  Do we just watch the body language and try not to intervene?

My dog goes reactive seeing other dogs, he was in a hospital for 2 weeks.

Our dog seems to get along in Daycare off leash but is more aggressive on walks with leash. Are we causing tension because of leash?
