Our courses were created by Dr. Ian Dunbar—veterinarian, animal behaviorist, dog trainer, and pioneer of modern reward-based dog training. Dr. Dunbar graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London, conducted animal behavior research at UC Berkeley, founded SIRIUS Puppy Training, and founded the Association of Professional Dog Trainers in the United States. He has authored numerous books on dog behavior and training, including four that are available to download free through Dunbar Academy.
